Becoming A Mason

Freemasonry is a secular fraternal organisation. It promotes the principles of morality and seeks to advance the practice of brotherly love and charitable action amongst all, not just Masons.

Contrary to popular conjecture it is not a religion but does require its members to believe in the existence of a ‘Supreme Being’. The name of that Being, the scripture in which it is revealed, and the form in which it is to be worshipped, is entirely the business of the individual Mason.

Political and sectarian religious discussion is forbidden at Masonic gatherings.

If you live in the Faversham area and are interested in finding out more about becoming a Freemason then follow the link on our Contact Us page to our Secretary who will be delighted to be of assistance to you alternatively why not come along and meet with us informally on a Tuesday evening.
